وقّع المركز الوطني للإحصاء والمعلومات (7 يناير2026) مذكرة تفاهم مع شركة مدن المستقبل التابعة لمجموعة عُمانتل، وذلك بهدف تعزيز التعاون بين الجانبين في عدد من المجالات التقنية المتقدمة الداعمة لمشاريع التحول الرقمي في سلطنة عُمان.وتشمل مجالات التعاون الواردة في المذكرة: تنقية البيانات ومعالجتها، وتطوير حلول تعتمد على تقنيات الذكاء الاصطناعي، إلى جانب التعاون في منصة "عين عُمان" الخاصة بأنظمة الرقابة والامان، بما يسهم في تعزيز التكامل المعلوماتي ورفع كفاءة البيانات الداعمة لصنع القرار.وقد وقّع مذكرة التفاهم عن المركز الوطني للإحصاء والمعلومات سعادة الدكتور خليفة بن عبدالله بن حمد البرواني الرئيس التنفيذي للمركز، فيما وقّعها عن شركة مدن المستقبل المهندس عبدالله بن راشد بن عبدالله البادي الرئيس التنفيذي للشركة.وأكد سعادة الدكتور خليفة بن عبدالله البرواني أن توقيع هذه المذكرة يأتي ضمن جهود المركز لتعزيز الشراكة مع الجهات الوطنية في مجالات الذكاء الاصطناعي وتحسين جودة البيانات، مشيرًا إلى أن التعاون مع شركة مدن المستقبل سيمكّن المركز من الاستفادة من حلول مبتكرة تدعم تطوير البيانات الإحصائية وتحليلها، وتعزز قدرة المركز على توفير مؤشرات دقيقة تدعم متخذي القرار. وأضاف سعادته أن الاستفادة من منصة عين عُمان ستمثل قيمة مضافة في متابعة وتحليل البيانات الميدانية بشكل لحظي مما يدعم مشروعات المدن الذكية في سلطنة عمان.من جانبه، قال المهندس عبدالله بن راشد البادي الرئيس التنفيذي لشركة مدن المستقبل إن هذه المذكرة تشكل خطوة مهمة في توسيع دور الشركة كشريك تقني لمؤسسات القطاع الحكومي، موضحًا أن التعاون مع المركز الوطني للإحصاء والمعلومات سيسهم في توظيف إمكانيات الشركة في مجالات تنقية البيانات وتقنيات إنترنت الأشياء لتعزيز منظومة البيانات الوطنية. وأضاف أن التكامل بين خبرات الطرفين سيدعم تطوير حلول ذكية مبتكرة تسهم في تعزيز كفاءة الخدمات الحكومية ودعم مبادرات المدن الذكية.وتأتي هذه المذكرة في إطار الجهود الوطنية لتسريع التحول الرقمي والاستفادة من تقنيات المستقبل، وبما يعزّز من جاهزية سلطنة عُمان في مجال البيانات والذكاء الاصطناعي وتطبيقات المدن الذكية، انسجامًا مع توجهات “رؤية عُمان 2040” الهادفة إلى بناء اقتصاد معرفي متقدّم، وتعزيز كفاءة القطاعات الحكومية، وتطوير بنية أساسية رقمية تواكب التطورات العالمية.

The National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI) signed 7th January 2026, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Future Cities Company, a subsidiary of the Omantel Group.The (MoU) aims to strengthening cooperation between the two entities in a range of advanced technical fields that support digital transformation projects in the Sultanate of Oman.The areas of cooperation outlined in the MoU include data cleansing and processing, the development of solutions based on artificial intelligence technologies, as well as collaboration on the “Ain Oman” platform dedicated to monitoring and security systems.&nbsp;This cooperation is expected to enhance information integration and improve the efficiency and quality of data that underpin decision-making.The MoU was signed on behalf of the National Centre for Statistics and Information by His Excellency Dr. Khalifa bin Abdullah bin Hamad Al Barwani, Chief Executive Officer of NCSI, and&nbsp;&nbsp;Eng. Abdullah bin Rashid bin Abdullah Al Badi, Chief Executive Officer of Future Cities Company.His Excellency Dr. Khalifa bin Abdullah Al Barwani affirmed that the signing of this MoU comes as part of the NCSI’s efforts to strengthen partnerships with national institutions in the fields of artificial intelligence and data quality enhancement. He noted that cooperation with Future Cities will enable NCSI to benefit from innovative solutions that support the development and analysis of statistical data and enhances its ability to provide accurate indicators that support decision-makers. He added that leveraging the Ayn Platform will represent significant added value in the real-time monitoring and analysis of field data, thereby supporting smart city projects in the Sultanate of Oman.For his part, Eng. Abdullah bin Rashid Al Badi, Chief Executive Officer of Future Cities, stated that the MoU considered as an important step in expanding the company’s role as a technology partner for government sector institutions.

سجّل إجمالي إنتاج الكهرباء في سلطنة عُمان بنهاية شهر نوفمبر 2025 ارتفاعًا بنسبة 5 بالمائة ليبلغ نحو 48 ألفًا و357.2 جيجاواط/ساعة، مقارنةً بـ 46 ألفًا و63.5 جيجاواط/ساعة خلال الفترة نفسها من عام 2024، وذلك وفقًا لبيانات الكهرباء الصادرة عن الجهات المختصة. وأظهرت البيانات أن صافي إنتاج الكهرباء ارتفع بنسبة 4.3 بالمائة ليصل إلى 46 ألفًا و984 جيجاواط/ساعة بنهاية نوفمبر 2025، مقارنةً بـ 45 ألفًا و44.8 جيجاواط/ساعة خلال الفترة نفسها من العام الماضي. وعلى مستوى المحافظات، تصدّرت محافظات شمال وجنوب الباطنة والظاهرة من حيث صافي الإنتاج بكمية بلغت 27 ألفًا و980.8 جيجاواط/ساعة، تلتها محافظتا شمال وجنوب الشرقية بنحو 9 آلاف و975.9 جيجاواط/ساعة، ثم محافظة ظفار بكمية 4 آلاف و907.8 جيجاواط/ساعة، فيما سجلت محافظة مسقط تراجعًا في صافي الإنتاج بنسبة 17.6 بالمائة مقارنةً بالفترة نفسها من عام 2024. وفي قطاع المياه، أظهرت البيانات أن إجمالي إنتاج المياه بلغ بنهاية نوفمبر 2025 نحو 466 مليونًا و497 ألف و100متر مكعب، منخفضًا بنسبة 2.2 بالمائة مقارنةً بـ 476 مليونًا و946 ألف و400 متر مكعب خلال الفترة نفسها من عام 2024. وبيّنت البيانات أن محافظة مسقط استحوذت على النصيب الأكبر من إنتاج المياه بكمية بلغت 187 مليونًا و177 ألف و500 متر مكعب، تلتها محافظة ظفار بنحو 69 مليونًا و809 آلاف و500 متر مكعب، ثم بقية المحافظات بإجمالي 209 ملايين و510 آلاف و200متر مكعب.

The total electricity production in the Sultanate of Oman recorded a 5% increase by the end of November 2025, reaching approximately 48,357.2 GWh, compared to 46,063.5 GWh during the same period in 2024, according to data issued by the relevant authorities. The data indicated that net electricity production rose by 4.3% to reach 46,984 GWh by the end of November 2025, compared to 45,044.8 GWh during the corresponding period last year. On the governorates level, North Al Batinah, South Al Batinah, and A’Dhahirah led in terms of net production with a combined quantity of 27,980.8 GWh. They were followed by the governorates of North A’Sharqiyah and South A’Sharqiyah at approximately 9,975.9 GWh, and Dhofar Governorate with 4,907.8 GWh. Meanwhile, Muscat Governorate recorded a 17.6% decline in net production compared to the same period in 2024. In the water sector, data showed that total water production reached approximately 466,497,100 cubic meters by the end of November 2025, representing a decrease of 2.2% compared to 476,946,400 cubic meters during the same period in 2024. Muscat Governorate accounted for the largest share of water production, totaling 187,177,500 cubic meters, followed by Dhofar Governorate with approximately 69,809,500 cubic meters. The remaining governorates produced a combined total of 209,510,200 cubic meters.

سجّل إجمالي القروض والتمويل في سلطنة عُمان بنهاية شهر أكتوبر 2025 نحو 34 مليارًا و733 مليون ريال عُماني، مرتفعًا بنسبة 9% مقارنةً بـ 31 مليارًا و875 مليون ريال عُماني خلال الفترة نفسها من عام 2024، وذلك وفقًا للبيانات الصادرة عن المركز الوطني للإحصاء والمعلومات.وأظهرت البيانات أن عرض النقد الضيق (M1) ارتفع بنسبة 7.3% ليبلغ 7 مليارات و505 ملايين ريال عُماني بنهاية أكتوبر 2025، مقارنةً بـ 6 مليارات و996 مليون ريال عُماني بنهاية أكتوبر 2024. كما ارتفع السيولة المحلية (M2) بنسبة 3.6% ليصل إلى 25 مليارًا و696 مليون ريال عُماني، مقارنةً بـ 24 مليارًا و808 ملايين ريال عُماني خلال الفترة نفسها من العام الماضي.وبيّنت البيانات أن السيولة المحلية (M2) سجلت زيادة بنحو 888 مليون ريال عُماني بنهاية أكتوبر 2025 مقارنةً بنهاية أكتوبر 2024، ما يعكس نمو النشاط المالي والائتماني في السلطنة.وفيما يتعلق بالودائع، أوضحت البيانات أن ودائع القطاع الخاص ارتفعت بنسبة 9.4% لتبلغ 22 مليارًا و306 ملايين ريال عُماني بنهاية أكتوبر 2025، مقارنةً بـ 20 مليارًا و384 مليون ريال عُماني خلال الفترة نفسها من عام 2024.كما أظهرت البيانات ارتفاع الأصول الأجنبية لدى البنك المركزي العُماني بنسبة 0.6% لتصل إلى 7 مليارات و253 مليون ريال عُماني بنهاية أكتوبر 2025، مقارنةً بـ 7 مليارات و209 ملايين ريال عُماني خلال الفترة المقارنة.وفي المقابل، تراجع متوسط سعر الفائدة على إجمالي القروض بنسبة 3.3% ليبلغ 5.44% بنهاية أكتوبر 2025، مقارنةً بـ 5.63% خلال الفترة نفسها من عام 2024، في حين استقر مؤشر سعر الصرف الفعلي للريال العُماني عند مستوى 116.4 نقطة.

The total loans and financing in the Sultanate of Oman reached approximately 34.733 billion OMR by the end of October 2025, marking a 9% increase compared to 31.875 billion OMR during the same period in 2024, according to data released by the National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI).The data showed that narrow money (M1) increased by 7.3% to 7.505 billion OMR by the end of October 2025, compared to 6.996 billion OMR at the end of October 2024. Meanwhile, broad money (M2) rose by 3.6% to 25.696 billion OMR, up from 24.808 billion OMR during the same period last year.The data further indicated that broad money (M2) increased by approximately &nbsp;888 million OMR by the end of October 2025 compared to the end of October 2024, reflecting continued growth in financial and credit activity in the Sultanate.With regard to deposits, private sector deposits rose by 9.4% to &nbsp;&nbsp;22.306 billion OMR by the end of October 2025, compared to &nbsp;&nbsp;20.384 billion OMR during the same period in 2024.In addition, foreign assets of the Central Bank of Oman increased by 0.6% to 7.253 billion OMR by the end of October 2025, compared to 7.209 billion OMR in the corresponding period.Conversely, the average interest rate on total loans declined by 3.3% to 5.44% by the end of October 2025, down from 5.63% during the same period in 2024, while the effective exchange rate index of the Omani Rial remained stable at 116.4 points.
